Had a yearly review at work once and the boss said my co-workers were afraid I was going to kill them because I own guns.

Told him I didn't care what other people think about me. He didn't believe that. So I pointed out that he also owned guns and asked how he would feel if they said the same about him. He had no answer for that.

Oh well, lucky for them I wasn't lying

A new one came out. This is pretty good stuff. Well worth watching IMO. Sounds like he's referencing a certain brainwashed political persuasion that we're all familiar with

The most liberating thing a person can do for oneself is to not give a shit. The concept is beautiful, in practice it's much more difficult, but it gets easier as you grow older.

for one of my annual "performance reviews", had a boss that had nothing bad to say, but he did tell me I needed to use more "tact" with our clients. I asked him if he had an example. "no". fine, i'll sign this dumb paper and let's move on.
