Wow - way cool. Thanks for sharing!

On March 2nd, Dan Wibben - the engineer/pilot of NASA’s Osiris-Rex spacecraft that recently took a sample from an asteroid for return to earth - is giving a zoom presentation from his office in Colorado Springs to our local civil air patrol squadron here in the Detroit area. His father is a longtime friend. Can’t wait to hear about that miracle feat, as well.

Wow...that's just awesome. Who would have ever thought we would get those kind of images on a landing? Thank you for sharing!

I only got to work on one NASA program when my career was just starting back in 1990. It was pretty exciting. I've always said that the only reason I'd move to another state or another part of this state is if I had the opportunity to work for NASA.

"Mars' atmosphere however is 95% carbon dioxide, 3% nitrogen, 1.6% argon, and it has traces of oxygen, carbon monoxide, water, methane, and other gases, along with a lot of dust. ... Relative to Earth, the air on Mars is extremely thin."

That’s why we’re spending so much money to get up there, it’s to warn them that unless they pay more in taxes naturally occurring gasses will destroy their planet too!
