And as stupid as it might sound, I love that it had the hidden headlights from the C2 design.....but don't get me wrong, if someone wants to give me a C1....I'm on board

I love the C5 body style. The only thing they could have done better was to have had a factory wide body option.

Back in the '80s, before I bought my '74, I could have bought a straight-axle for short money.

If'n I had the cash, I'd buy either a SWC, 67 BB vert, 70-72 BB coupe or vert, 80-81, 02-04 vert, 04 Z16, 09-13 Z06 or 427 vert. Whichever one I could afford.

I had a C4, C5, and C6. It took a while to warm to the C6 over the C5 and I still like the feel of the C5 over the C6. But the C6 has convenience features that I like a lot. It seems more docile to me until you push it a little whereas the C5 never let you forget you were driving a sports car.
C5 and C6 were both verts and the C5 is WAY more pleasant to drive at highway+ speed with the top down. Unless you need the heated seats of the C6. Guess it's the hood or something... don't know.

I love the technology and performance of the C7 but never warmed up to the styling. The C8 looks outstanding to me and I'd have one if I hadn't spent C8 money on an RV. Hope the wife doesn't read but maybe, just maybe when we tire of the RV.... Really I can use the C8 as a "strawman" and maybe get a 2013 427 vert. Probably the best ever Corvette fit for me.
