I must be getting out of shape. One day of climbing ladders and working on the roof, loading a truck, and pushing a lawn mower.....and today I'm stiff and sore...every part of me hurts!

That, and I ate some pasta with tomato sauce and that's a nono for gout, so you can throw a case of that on top for fun.

I'm glad you guys were holding the fort while I was gone to the country.

Thanks Wendy, I actually feel better already. I only had the one day to do stuff up there otherwise I would have stayed longer...the weather is beautiful for September. The leaves aren't turning colors a lot yet up at the lake, but here's a shot of our little cottage lane.

all together i get 29 days off besides holidays, i just take them 1 day or 2 days at a time, wife at home is very BOSSY!!!

lovely.

as usual, got a shower, got dressed, had breakfast, hooked the dog up for a walk. we always take a long morning walk, about 20 min. she explores, does her business, and then takes a nap for another 2-3 hours.

not today. we get about 100 yards down the driveway, she sits down, won't go any further, turns around and heads back in. it's cool this morning, about 36F.....lovely, my hairy dog doesn't like cold......um, psst, winter is coming, it's only going to get colder you idiot dog.

as for breakfast, oatmeal with frozen blueberries, dried cherries, dried chopped dates and some maple syrup. glass of juice.

i'm good until lunch.

and now doggie is napping next to me as i type....

I get a special breakfast on Sundays Robbie,sitting on the back porch with a cup of coffee ,two Doxies in my lap and cool 54 degrees out,love it. I put Casper in a show up in Columbia S.C. Yesterday to benefit homeless vets,only 11 cars showed up,I felt bad for them but they need to advertise better next year. Have a great day peeps.
