Default Are You?

When it comes to your vehicle, are you brand loyal? My father ALWAYS purchased GM cars -primarily Chevrolet- and Ford trucks. Myself, I'm a GM person. I've owned one Ford product in the 40 years I've been buying and selling automobiles.

I am, and always will be a Toyota/Lexus nut, and will absolutely get the new Supra, and I love my Tundra with 263k miles. I am also loyal to Corvette, but not GM. I will have many more Corvettes. GM just doesn't come close in reliability to Toyota, but I still love the Vettes, and right now, Lexus doesn't have anything that tickles my fancy. LFA was cool, but $400k?

I WAS, had about 25 loaded 4x4 pick ups when I was working, about as many family cars and a few specialties (Vettes and a 91 SS454 PU)

Now I only have 1 Chev a 15 Vette Vert. My other two rides are now Toyota. A Rav 4 and a Tundra 4x4. Good vechicles BTW!

I did not leave Chevy they left me. (2010 got rid of my last 2500HD. Way too many expensive problems in my last two Chevy PUs (2500HD 4x4s)

Toyota. Current daily is a '14 Tacoma 4x4. It's a wonderful little truck. I have owned three other Toyota products, and all have been stone cold reliable and worry free for the most part.

I have owned two C3 Corvette's, and love Corvette's in general. I have also owned and currently own Ford V8 Mustang's. I like them as well.

I bought a new Camaro in '89 and had problems with it from day one. I bought a new 350Z in '04 and had zero problems. Of the two, take a guess which brand I'll buy again.

*I'm like Craig, although I don't like Chevy overall, I'd consider a Vette.

My family has always been Ford people. I have a 17 year old Ranger 4X4 with 250K that’s still going strong. It doesn’t get much use these days, but when I need it it’s ready to go. My DD is a Taurus, and my wife’s car is a Jag from the days Ford owned them.

With the exception of a few jeeps everything I’ve owned is GM. Mostly Chevrolet’s and GMC’s. My current work truck is an F150 and it’s not ½ bad. Not sold on the eco boost but this one has 262k on the clock and runs fine

All my trucks have been GM. 90% of my sports cars have been GM. Passenger cars ? 25% GM.

Understand what a manufacture does well.

I bought a new '89 IROC (still have it, 60k miles). Blew a head gasket, repaired under warranty. Still ran hot (by temp gauge) but didn't seem to have problems. So the gauge may have been a problem. Fun car, but bad quality.

They are pretty good. I've only tried their wash and buttery wax. They seemed to offer a better product than store brands, Mothers, Meguiers etc etc. I've been really upping my consumption on Adam's polishes. They truly are in the premium detail space.

What are you needing, maybe I can provide some insight?

I bought their black car care kit. The Tahoe is new so the paint is in decent condition. I read several reviews, watched YT and came to the conclusion they were worth a shot.

It's the first vehicle I bought new, prior to that I picked up a few cars a couple years old.. I bought my 07 Frontier at the begining of 2010, I think bought my 2010 Grand cherokee Limited in 2013. The frontier and Grand cherokee were nice, were loaded with options, fit and finish were nice. The F150 probably has a leg up being New, it just does everything better than my previous cars. I did go from an 09 Grand cherokee limited to the F150. That could cause my sway of opinion. Also prior to the 09 Jeep, I was driving POS pathfinders and Qx4's that were 10+ years old
