Just canceled Ring basic subscription because of their price increase. I don’t need a history. Live coverage and alerts is all I require.

You can get the Feit Electric door bell and it comes with an SD card slot and it records a couple of days worth of video (depending on the size of your SD card). My RING doorbell cameras do not record as their only purpose is to communicate with whoever is at my walk in gate or driveway gate. If someone actually gets past my gate or jumps my wall, they will be captured by other cameras.
