There’s a parrot out there somewhere just waiting to be hatched.

Some subjects simply have too much gravitas and global importance to even consider parodying. This is one of those subjects. Let's all show some respect.

Do we have parity with the parodies?

It's not just for cars, makes quick work of dusting.

I 'think' you could also get a 318 or 340, 360 was rare, as remember a few Mopar doods in high school with that set-up.

They were all angry they could not afford Mustangs or Camaros.

Perhaps, but those 225 slant sixes were pretty indestructible. Would get you back and forth to work for many years.

Well bless your little heart. Which swiffer duster did you purchase? I have 3. The wet swiffers for the bathroom and kitchen floors for quick cleanups, the dry cloths, rectangle swiffers for dusting furniture and car dashes. (Please note that there is a difference between dusting and polishing furniture). The third swiffer is an extension type with the swiffer dusters. Two dusters attach to it. I use it for the ceiling fan blades, high corners in the tray ceiling, etc. The store brands seem to work as well as the brand name. Throw it away when it looks brown. I have the larger microfiber for the hardwood floors and Bruce hardwood floor cleaner. I like it better than bona.
You are welcome.

My best buddy bought a new '71 Duster with a 340, 4-speed. It was pretty quick. He said it was as fast as his '68 383 GTS he had previously.

Same colors as this stock photo, sans wheels and gay fin:

Correct, my brother had a '74 Gold Duster with the 225 and it was a dog. My dad had a '75 Valiant and it was the same, about 15 seconds for 0-60mph.

Floors are my job. Instead of the inferior Swifter, I go it it with a three step process:
  • Vacuum
  • Bona dry microfiber floor duster. This is a washable head that Velcros to a 5' long handle.
  • Bona spray and microfiber mop head, works like the duster except it's a wet process. Requires no rinsing and dries quickly.

Then the washable heads go into the laundry. Again, not my venue.

Any dusting that I do is inside of cars and of course the "man rooms"; garage, cold closet and tool room. When I have to dust in the tool room I vacuum first, microfiber towel dampened with water or if on wood. Bona hardwood floor cleaner.
You're over complicating things again.

Sure, I sweep, vacuum, and mop but that's all done via an app on my phone or my tablet. This device here does it all..... and I labeled it as "The Maid." when it gets going, my phone will give an alert that says, "The Maid is cleaning your living room (or whatever room it's in)." I love when that goes off at work in front of people.

Good for:

Picture frames
Baseboards
Countertops
Lighting (like bathroom lights)

Bad for:
Tabletops with sides
Anything with grooves or panels
anything with dangling parts that can catch in the fibers

Overall, I'm not a fan, but I use one now and then.
