Default 2 New Family Members
Ever since we had to let our 18 year old cat go last March, Mrs V has said she wanted to eventually get another kitten to keep our remaining cat company.

She decided she was ready for that and found a kitten on the local shelter's website, so we filled out an online application, made an appointment to meet the cat, blah, blah, blah...can't just walk in anymore.

She picked out a 3 month old gray and white kitten who was still in a foster home, so the "foster mom" met us at the shelter. She (the kitten) is very skittish and it took about 2 weeks in the foster home to stop hissing and spitting at people. But she took to my wife right away. She didn't seem to trust me too much...smart cat.

So we came home with her, plus another 3 month old Maine Coon-ish "impulse purchase".

We have had a cat named Bo for some 15 years about 1.5 years ago his smaller sister got badly ill and ran off.....but Bo looks just like the little kitten in first pix above....gray striped topside and white tummy/legs.....

Recently we been feeding another kitten with SAME fuzz as BO.....so his name is BO 2.0

But they work the best when you don't leave one door unlatched. It took a half hour to find the cat hiding under some furniture in the far corner of the room.

I like getting paired names for pets gotten at the same time. We've had a few like that. We lived in the south, so we had Magnolia, Daisy and Rebecca. We now have Beauregard. None of them were "registered" type of pups, but they definitely grew into their names

When I was a teen, we got a pair of Siamese kittens, brother and sister. My mom named them Brandy and Alexander.
