Ive lost 20lbs on covid diet, which is basically not eating. Now I eat what I want when I want. BMI 22.2. Last time cholesterol checked it was good. Probably hasn’t changed much.

Tomahawk for two at Fahrenheit went from $100 to $120 since last time we were there. I’d still pay it. Almost all are local non-chain small businesses. Can’t imagine the overhead alone in those primo downtown 200 yr old buildings. Seating might be 50 each. Some have rooftop bar/seating. Lots of live music. It’s a whole thing.

The Ranch is a very nice steakhouse. Kind of a formal western type restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere are all outstanding. I got engaged to the Mrs. there.

The Boulevard is a very cool steakhouse. It has more of the old school large city atmosphere. They play Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. The food, service, and atmosphere are off the chart. I would rate the Boulevard just very slightly above The Ranch.

That Tomahawk looks TASTY! Looks like my kind of place.

No. I didn't have the desire. She is the sister of a very good friend of mine. But I did go out with sisters before.

Classy joints.

For us those are in metro DC area ~50 miles north. Downtown are small old buildings as noted. Fahrenheit service is fantastic. Defiantly enhances the experience. Orofino is like an Italian trattoria. It is really. Friendly young staff, mostly from Italy if not all. Chef Danilo is from Sicily I think. He used to work at a high end joint in NYC and wanted to start his own biz. Glad he came here. We made this early in the pandemic when he did a FB live thing. Chicken Milanese. Pounded flat, butterflied, stuffed with ham and cheese, breaded, deep fried, finished in the oven, topped with Milanese sauce.

Danilo is a cool dude. Chatted with him at his joint. I am happy to throw my money at places like this.
