Anybody had a sleep study?

I cannot understand how anyone can sleep with a CPAP. My first two studies showed I was snoring but not to the point of apnea. But I take some heavy sedation every night to sleep (for ten years now) so that makes it worse. It drives my wife nuts. Of course, it’s more of a short putt for her.

I may have the same thing....was suppose to go in for the fitment before the china virus for the sleep apnea...but never made into the hospital...they locked it down. The whole Bruxism thing i have dealt with since i was a kid....mouth guards...braces....they don't know what they are talking about in that area...sometimes i sleep good no grinding then when stressed i do it.

Me neither...my ex's could hear it in the other room...they all said it was the most insane sound and could not figure out what created it. Gnashing of the teeth is no joke and causes all kinds of medical problems. Get the guard but it doesn't solve the problem.....I'm at Pitbull range on Jaw Muscles but at some point you will have to worry about your joints wearing out.

Had one a looong time ago because I snored so bad. Woke up continuously all the time. During the study stopped breathing about a hundred times, the longest for a little over twenty seconds. Have sleep apnea. I have been using a Cpap now for twenty years. Usually sleep through the night and a lot deeper than I did before.

They claimed I had 27 events an hour when on my back and 9 per hour when on my side. Problem is at home I sleep partially on my side and partially on my belly. I use a pillow on both sides of me and alternate between the two all night. I was not able to sleep this way during the study though. They told me I couldn't sleep on my stomach because it would interfere with the straps around my chest which measure your breathing rate. Needless to say I barely got 4 hours sleep during the first test due to this.

Being a chronic toss -n- turner I have serious reservations whether I'll be able to use a CPAP or not.

Mine all started after I was a Drill Sergeant. The sleep apnea and bruxism. There was no sleep schedule as a Drill Sergeant and it screwed me up for life I guess.
