I heard it explained in another thread, maybe on another site, that "impeachment" is kind of like an arrest. When you're arrested, the arrest record is put on your file, whether you are convicted or not. The arrest record never goes away.

Apparently, same with impeachment. The impeachment is on record, whether the President was convicted or not.

Seems like more “Bread & Circus” while Biden is fed EOs to sign.

Trump failed. We can argue whether he was really trying or just intent on creating a circus atmosphere in D.C. but he didn’t accomplish anything worth celebrating, IMO. (Unless having Liberals control Congress and the White House was the goal?)
