Freon sub for your home & car A/C
I was talking to buddy the other day and he was complaining about his home A/C not putting out much cold air and I told him of my experience and figured some of you may have the same problem during this hot weather.
I got tired of paying an A/C Tech every Spring to come and recharge, usually, both of my units. I used to do it myself, but now you have to be licenced to buy R-22. So I did a search and found autorefrigerants.com. I bought a 6 pack of their ES-22a plus two cans of heavy duty sealer and a charging hose with a gauge, all for under a 100 bucks. That was 4 years ago and I still have 3 cans of the ES-22 left. To say this stuff works is an understatement. It's one of the few times that I have found that the promotional hype equals the result. You shouldn't need to recharge every season. If so, there's a leak.

You do know that's just purified LP gas, right?

Go online and get your EPA license. Takes 20 minutes. I spnet the full hour and can buy what ever type refrigerant I want.

If the truth was known it has been used as a refrigerant for years in Europe and Asia. I had a little electric refrigerator that my niece bought in Egypt. It runs on 12 volts and mounts in a vehicle, it uses LP gas as the refrigerant. |
