Another wonderful phone call from liver boy... Skin cancer found today gets cut off in a week or so and 1st week of October a week's hospital stay to remove 4 small tumors from his brain. Small holes only as they're very small just they want to remove now before they become a larger issue. Bet that bill gonna suck, 5 days in clean room.
Literally just done with chemo last week.
Good news is liver is behaving better so eating has improved and he doesn't feel that bad overall besides the usual stuff like back and migraines with the occasional floor nap usually accompanied by something broken or dislocated but those are normal. Energy level still bad with no stamina, luckily he get s a few weeks off to recover as he needs it. Always been slow to recover and they push too much on at once amd it gets him down physically and mentally something bad.
Ya know he's lucky to be alive with all the brain bleeds the last 30 years. Odds were he'd never get close to 50. Odds aren't so good he'll make 55 however. I'll be heading back up in week so anyway (already planned) to get house back in shape and in Oct to winterize house and cars. Wish his kids weren't such assholes and would help with the important and harder stuff... When he goes I'm gonna say things that would make truckers cry(not that i haven't already) and that'll be the last time his family sees me.

Mike, He's A friend lives up north I've know since the 80s. I been going up for long time help him out. Decade or so ago things went south, near fatal car accident shaved a decade off his life around then also. Since then diabetes, poked own eye out, broken god knows how many bones from falls.
It's just been one health issue after another for a long time. We'd thought the sarcoidosis would do him in or the brain bleeds.. Or one of the other issues. Already had throat cancer 5 or 6 years ago. Meds always giving his kidneys and other organs issues. Liver shut off a year or so ago and cancer was found and on lungs, recently spleen cancer too.
I'd give him chunk of liver but they won't do it. Time is shorter than we'd like... Much much shorter.
