I mean, there was a rope that had a loop at the end, on every garage door at Talladegga for years. But now it's a noose, because reasons. I will support my small local tracks from here on out. Dirt or drag racing. They are usually a small biz. for the owners with drivers that really want to win. We started going to Daytona in the early '70s. I was a NASCAR fan for decades. When the drivers started being just corporate spokesman for their sponsors vs. wanting to race and win is when they started losing me. Any of us can get out there and drive a car fast around these tracks. That is all the majority cared about. Get out there, show the sponsor, collect multi-million dollar incomes from driving and merchandise contracts. Then along came spec cars of today. It's a boring show. Not racing. It's all about money at the pro level. Even Petty said back in the day when they relied on fans vs corporate sponsors, TV contracts, etc..for the money. They would allow him to cheat. He said they would walk through the garage and pretend to check his car and give a nod/wink. He put the 'meat in the seats' with the fan ticket sales. They knew better to mess with their cash cows. I fully expect them to do this for Bubba and let him win one or two for the publicity and feel good.

Goodbye 'ASSCAR' from a 40 year fan and supporter. You suck now.
