I doubt if a sex change involves the prostate gland or the surrounding tissue where prostate cancer might metastasize.

Coming up on 6 years for me. Prostate was removed as a precaution, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer (lime sized tumor in my bladder). When they removed the bladder, they did the prostate as well - biopsy evaluated it as Gleason score 7. So far all is clear...
