It might be.

There are those who believe that Facebook might be the killer app for the internet. What would you have given for the rights to radio? Not just NBC or Dumont or CBS, but all of radio? How about TV?

Facebook has just recently implemented it's own currency and are requiring developers like Zynga to port their apps to it. Just like the iTunes store gave Apple access to a zillion kids with mom's credit card, facebook can do the same thing - but it'll also be your instant messenger, your mail service and where you go to upload videos to share and keep up with all your friends.

Suddenly, its a portal that combines email, IM, YouTube, gaming and integrates all that into a place populated with all your friends and colleagues. There's some power in that synergy.

There are a lot of people who don't use facebook and never will, but far more keep folding it into their lives. I'm getting as much interest in doing Facebook campaigns as I am TV spots. And its going up while other forms of mass media are dropping.
