I watched women weeping like the Beatles were on Ed Sullivan. I truly thought it would be just a matter of time before the snake handling began and a girl in a wheelchair would be made to walk again.

It frightens me that so many...SO MANY people can be fed so much bullchit and come back for a second helping.

Yeah I saw that too. Not long ago there was some twentysomething girl who went on a rant on Facebook about the evil Donald Trump and before long, she was blubbering like a 3rd grader who lost her lunch money. It's truly scary is how unbelieveably fragile most people under 30 seem to be. This is the result of the "helicopter parent/everyone gets a trophy" upbringing. I stand firmly behind my previous comment that we'd be in some deep kimchee if we had to rely on these microbes to defend our shores.

It's also a good indicator of why they view Trump's speech as "dark" or "gloomy" or "depressing" as opposed to seeing it as the dose of realism that it was. No bad news for these people...no sir. It's all butterflies and daisies in their worlds.

What's ever more absurd is that in reality, whoever is President has almost no effect on them. If Trump is elected, they won't lose their jobs or their apartments, they'll still drive around in their Nissan Leafs, Starbucks will still be selling all the Caramel Macchiatos they can drink and their parents will continue to pay their cell phone bills. No one has informed these self-described "radicals" (who apparently aren't suffering as they seem to be able to take time off from their jobs to travel to Philadelphia to protest) that because they are not significantly contributing to society, they really don't count.

IN A WAY, I kind of sympathize with the kids, jobs are HARD to find, the .gov is not hiring ALL the liberal farts grads the way it was 40 years ago, so the kids with or without a 'degree' are on the street looking for work, but the JOBS are all overseas now...how in hell to afford 500/month MINIMUM rent on some apt. making even 15 bux/hour.....??? NFW, not happening.....


SO, ? IS, how to get these kids JOBS and leading into productive lives???

Any young person wants to ensure themselves ample job choice and a living wage needs only put down the textbooks and pick up a service manual. I work in the heavy equipment industry and every shop in our area needs techs desperately. Our shop has even hired "walk ons" with no experience and/or tools in the hope we can grow our own talent. This appears to be an industry wide condition; and it seems younger folk would rather work at a computer screen than use their hands.

dont feel bad. Theres actually alot of jobs today. A buddy of mine called me with a few job interviews he got. 1 job would give him a car and he fixes cell phone creens pays 20 an hour. Another one was 25 an hour same hing gets a car gas paid and $100 a week expense check fixing machines at warehouses that make those plastic strap things that gets put on boxes.

Young kids are just stupid. Its not their fault their stupid its their stupid generation before them that made them stupid. Also women in your era stayed at home spread their legs got fkd and had babies. They stayed home to raise kids. Now their working so their sucking up the job market aswell

21 year old kid I sold my beloved FRC to today has been running a beer route for nearly 3 years but has hit the ceiling. I talked to him about the HVAC/Electrian trade and if his love for autos prevailed maybe paintless dent/ding removal or straightening bumpers.
