Default Unusual sight at the Chevy dealer today.
Went to the dealer stand alone oil change center and across at the dealer surprised to see on the use car lot a 59/60 Chevy and a 56 Chrysler product.

I went to the dealer website and no listing for them. Joe Basil Chevy, Transit Rd., Depew, New York.

Likely because the software they use won't accept a VIN for them.

First car I owned was a 60 Impala with a 283ci and powerglide, white with red interior - a GREAT first ride for a new driver.

You know what's weird? My best friend's daughter and engineer son in law got a new (well, slightly used) car. Some kind of Toyota small SUV. So I'm asking about it. What's size is the engine?

I couldn't believe it. These are very smart kids, college grads. They just really had no interest in the mechanics of their car, just that it runs well. The car is an appliance, like a washer or fridge. That seems to be typical of the younger generations. It's just weird. Even if we had a crap car back in the day, we knew all about it. Generational differences.

Holy Crap are they overpriced!

24k for that 89 Fox Body. 23k for that 93 Vette Anniversary. Both with low miles, but still. Run of the mill cars really.
