So after going that way about 20 minutes or so we came up on a dam that was only about an 8, or maybe 10 foot drop off.

The water looked plenty deep enough going over the dam so I didn't think it would damage the prop.

Thought what the heck, why go all the way back around, I will just jump this puppy and keep going.

My buddy Vince was all for it also, Larry and Rhonda didn't want to, but put life jackets on when they knew I was serious.

Sooooo, I got a good running start and went for it....

The problem was the nose of the boat was still up in the air and had not leveled out yet, putting the rear even further down in the water.

It was an inboard/outboard, that no longer had the outboard part after it got knocked off on the top of the concrete dam...

I had just bought insurance before making this trip, but my agent refused to pay..

The cooler was always full of ice cold beer, had a few ball jars full of Shine, and Larry had a pocket full of Ludes for Rhonda.

He and I played a game for years. When he needed to get a 4-some together, I wore my mini-skirt and caddied for him. When we finished 18, the guys would invite me into the clubhouse for a martini and my dad would laugh and "sorry guys she's only 16". Then we laughed all the way home talking about the expressions on their faces.

Most say I look like Ashton Kutcher from the '70s show, but it could be because the picture IS from the '70's.
