No, you can't. You can control how many posts you see in a thread before page break, but not how many threads you see listed on a forum page.

OK so we’re back to about normal now, 50 threads on the front page and oldest is two days old, we’re getting better it used to be three or four days old. As a refresher what precipitated this thread was after I mentioned that the threads are usually three days old, they all of a sudden became the same day. That screenshot is in the first post.
