I used to go all out making the sauce, garden maters, onions, fresh spices, mater sauce and paste, etc., just too time consuming now. Made my own meatballs too, ground beef, pork, and veal, they were delicious.

Take the easy way out now, doctor up some Francisco Renaldi sauce (least sweetest) with Italian seasoning, some frozen meatballs, let them cook in the sauce in a small crockpot for about 4 hours, they do come out tasty.

I was raised in Italy, so you'll have to excuse me if I disagree about that actually being pasta...or edible on a regular basis.

If you make the food to your taste and you like it, you eat it.

Looks good...but I prefer surf and turf... Black Angus Filet Mignon and shrimp with nice bake potato and corn. I only eat red meat, at most, once a month...so it's a nice treat.

I will concede that it is food, but will not agree on the quality or ifit qualifies as a pasta or Italian dish of any kind

I guess if it makes a turd.......

Tray Rao's Norm.... best jarred sauce I've ever had. It's a bit more expensive, but you don't have to doctor it up at all (Costco has it in the big jars)
