Took the C3 for a ride through the back roads, always a pleasure, decided to show my service writer buddy at a local dealership the '81.

Just happened to notice this only car on the showroom floor, well golly, a used C8............

I was simply wondering how the dealer could get away with pricing a used vehicle for more than the MSRP on a new one. I know it's free market, but that to me seems excessive. Notice in my reply I mentioned there'd be somebody willing to pay that price......

The only way it's priced "excessive" is if nobody is willing to pay that price. If somebody buys it it's not excessive.

I'm 100% in favor of a free market. But if I walked into the Chevy dealer I've been doing business with for the last 15 years it'd call into question their business practices. I'd take a good look at whether they'll continue to get my hard earned dollar.
