Spent the afternoon roasting in a car w/o air, 80 mile drive, no cruise, no power steering, but at least it had removable tops.
I am toasted (95, sunny)

Not even at the one week of summer early July!

3 yrs ago when in Boulder Jct for family get together week of July 4th it hit 94f. AC isn’t needed up there but thank the lord the lake was 64f 🤣

Was miserable to sleep


BTW - nice toy. Even Razoor can see it being yellow

wasted 1/2+ day on Geek Stuff like Phred today.

Didindo's around here are breaking into cars and trucks in the middle of the night, even hitting the G-Door openers and shopping for tools etc. At one house they went into the house and stole a purse and wallet on the counter while owners were sleeping

so, the new Genie side mount G-Door lift I have is all wifi or rolling code remotes. There are no wired switches with it and there is no "vacation" mode which locks out any and all remotes when switch is closed.

so, bought a WiFi relay device and will power from the +24vdc battery feed in the opener (used if battery backup) and give a contact closure to the Vacation Mode connector on the opener itself. Sounds good - right?

had device working with it's own app in 30 min, no sweat I thought. add the whole house wifi, static IP mapping and then integration into Hubitat - 5 hours went by quick but from IPad or phone via the Hubitat app - all works. Now to get off bench into G-Door opener to finish

Not well, but getting along OK.
Off 1 of the Target drugs for 2 weeks to see if she'll get an appetite back.
No improvement yet, but only 2.5 days in. Should know more by the weekend.

Thanks, may not be a crowd pleaser, but it's growing on me. Origina color, repainted al least once.
My son-in-law drove me up to get it, and remarked "that's 10 years older than me". He's 36. Car's a '76.

Dew points and humidity stupid high, heat index in the 107 range.
