What's your kWh electrical usage?

We're trying to reduce our usage...

I'd like to compare to others.....Yes, many variables and locations to consider....

A quick snapshot.

49 cents per kwh. Going up 35% this summer and 100% by next summer.

Over the last month: 974 kwh & 202 ccf of nat gas.

Maybe I should ask the total energy usage electric and gas?

Ours was IMO crazy high at 826.00 last month.

Rates are so different across the country. Here, electricity is very cheap. NG less so.

This time of year it's gas for me. My bill last month was $386. A year ago at this time it was under $200. My energy costs have about doubled since Biden took office. Literally. My groceries have gone up 40-50% all around.
As long as fossil fuels are demonized, we are phucked as a prosperous and strong nation.

Yes US Dollars. Our electric bills are climbing each month.....I've turned off an electrical heat back up unit and lowered a floor heating draw, but still the usage hasn't dropped..

Same groceries too, have shot up!

About 600 KWH +- a month. (average)

We heat, cook, make hot water with Propane.

Regularly get a notice from the power company that we use much more electricity than our neighbors. They said they could come and make a audit.

Told them that 95% of my neighbors are flatlanders and are either here for the summer or in most cases summer weekends. Of course I will use more electricity you dingbats!-

Yup, I get them too....Our house uses so much more than our neighbors.....

Just got electric bill from Dec 23 to Jan 24 for $452.

Up from last bill at $430 pre-Dec 23rd. (F-Me). Then the gas bill hit @$80 from $26 avg. (F-Me 2x).

Worse case temp and furnace demand was Dec 23-30th and latest electric bill when temp was 9F.

New Gas HVAC and with junking of POS electric HP happened on 1-16. Electric bill shows positive trend of the "average" decreases with shift to gas usage


Electric "avg" should come down 30%-35% of current electric usage

So/ worst case I hope was:
NG - went from 9 therms to 46 therm or $26 to $83
ELEC - went from 3,394 Kwh to 3,510 Kwh or $426 to $452

Futures are non-projected as the elect and gas have decided to raise rates like all other POS utility companies out here.

I/we cant win. Caught in the forced shift to elect when we are all being screwed by suppliers rate increases by gov to electric only (F them)
