I have a digital clock that sets itself when plugged into an outlet. Apparently a time signal is sent along with electrical power. How that is done is beyond me.

And I have an older, battery operated clock with hands, and that receives a radio signal from some government station in the midwest. Watching the hands move to the correct time is kinda amazing....

I have never bragged about being a competitive skier. In fact at most I have tried it less than a dozen times.

This is projection, clearly, no doubt from your own personal experience of being the fat kid, last picked on the kickball field.

But no- wrong-o on your part, per usual. We race in teams 4 to 8 members, each team has sequential two digit bib numbers starting with second digit 1. First team has first digit 1, second 2, and so on. First night team 1 goes first, second night team 2 goes first, and so on. Last night was the 4th night, so my team #5 went second.

Out of my three other teammates, Mark left immediately to pick up his kid, Ron went home because he's old and has to be at work early, and Ralph went into the locker room to dry off and store his skis, then get dressed for his nearly 4-hour drive home. I leaned my skis on the fence outside for my chairlift ride home, and walked into the bar after quickly changing into my shoes. Ralph was a good ten minutes or more behind yours truly.

Regarding my standing in the field, I'm always first on my team, and last night was typical, I was 18 out of a field of 48. The handicap system gave me 4 points out of a possible 5, which is where I've been for about the last 8 years, since my skills peaked in my early 50's and I was getting 5 pints fairly regularly. Results are on live-timing dot com.

Then you have no basis to throw rocks and Yaddie's ability in this area. It simply makes you look like a buffoon.....one of those huge, fat guys at a football game with body paint and no shirt drinking two beers on his hat through straws running into his nose. Not very sophisticated or enviable.
