We purchase pullets locally for eggs/meat. But these guys and plenty of other farms will ship (multiple breeds) to locations just about anywhere in the US.

My wife bought 1/2 dozen at Publix yesterday for $3.79. I was at the local Lidl store today and they had a dozen for $5.49.

I guess we'll be shopping there from now on.

In non diverse rural areas, some folks are still on the honor system....so put out a table with their wares, a sign with the prices, and a cigar box for people to put their payment into.....basically the honor system. Obviously that wouldn't work in a place like Houston.

Hey, a huge fire at a New Zealand egg production farm? Seems legit. I mean, I remember this kind of thing happening all the time in years back. Hundreds of mysterious farm and food production fires every year.....perfectly normal. I mean, chickens...they are very flammable, right?

After being a publix loyalists for many decades, I have concluded they are yet another mfer willing to gouge as often as they can get away with it.

Their price for milk, eggs and all things dairy is MUCH HIGHER than any other store.
That, and their produce is average at best, lastly their beef is way overpriced.

But, their subs are still good, expensive but good.
