Had the US not gotten its nose in something that is NOT our business, the war would have been over a long time ago, many white people on both sides would still be alive, and Ukraine wouldn't be a blown to shit country right now. Russia wanted the ethnic Russian areas in the east.

The US, and to a lesser extent, other NATO countries are directly responsible for the suffering of the Ukrainian people right now. Ukraine is not part of NATO, and their known corruption makes them not suitable for induction into NATO. And the slippery slope argument....well, Poland will be next, is absolute bullshit. Poland IS a NATO member. Russia wouldn't dare enter Russia, because then instead of this piecemeal graft infused aid of money and materiel, the NATO response would be everything we've got over there....armored divisions, air power, and probably Naval carrier based air power as well. And if Russia was intent on that, all they'd have to do is go through friendly Belarus to do that, they wouldn't need to slog through Ukraine, wasting resources.

Our strategy should have been to do nothing, let it end quickly, and move on. Oh, and maybe start drilling for oil and gas again, to keep Russia from getting wealthy and more powerful by selling their gas to freezing Europe. Trump was actually doing that, inking contracts with Poland and others. In fact, I remember him directly warning Germany about the folly of being dependent on Russia to stay warm.

Shouldn't GIVE them anything. We could discuss SELLING them stuff, but a country $ 31T in debt shouldn't be giving free shit to anybody, much less foreigners.

What a goat rope, reminds me of when we sent F-14s to Iran. Most people don't understand you can't just "drop off" exotic military hardware in a country at war.

The US will be providing logistics pipelines for parts, personnel to train others or actually perform repair work or deal with battle damage and add'l training for foreigners to even operate the pieces. Then maintenance and repair IT infrastructure because of the documentation and logistics is automated now. Not even counting the cost of replacing expended munitions.

This is a MASSIVE commitment of US taxpayer resources and a windfall for sweetheart DoD contractors, all to fight an unwinnable proxy war via a corrupt country. Meanwhile our borders are less secure than Biden's garage full of classified documents.

We need to just stop this nonsense.
