Anyone on the bikeforums.net P&R forum?

As I understand it bikeforums.net is owned by Internet Brands as is Corvetteforum.com.

Participants seems to have a more leftist orientation than CF but the moderation seems to be similar.

They have this posted on the "How to gain access"

"The only requirement we actually have is 120 days post history and a minimum of 50 posts in the cycling forums since lounge posts don't count toward post count."

Except it turns out that's not the way it is. I applied to get in when I far exceeded this unambiguously stated guideline but the admin Siu Blue Wind wanted me to jump through more hoops.

I concluded this "change the rules mid-stream" approach is what one could expect from the moderation and decided no thanks.

Anyone know if Siu Blue Wind is the same person as savewave at CF? I get a similar vibe off their communications.

I would find it difficult to believe his ass has seen a bicycle seat since he was 12. I just don’t see cycling as something he would have even a remote interest in.

As to the OP, I think IB went very woke and all of their offerings are suffering from inconsistent leadership and rules, regs, and edicts that change when the wind blows in different directions.

It has been a couple of decades since I last rode my bicycle, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't still be interested in the sport.

Assuming he's a paid admin would it require him to have an actual interest in either pursuit? Are savewave or any of the mods known to own a Corvette?
