Updated: Jan 30, 2011 10:43 AM EST TOLEDO, OH - A Toledo woman has been jailed after police say she shot her mother just before 11 p.m. Friday in the 1900 block of Ontario in north Toledo. Witnesses say Scherrie Farr refused to give in to her daughter's repeated requests for more alcohol. As a result, police say 51 year-old Cynthia Farr pulled out a revolver and aimed it at herself first. When her mother tried to get the gun away from her daughter, a shot went off and hit Scherrie in the stomach. Farr was taken to the hospital. Her condition has not been released. |
