IMHO the museum is as worthy a cause as can be for Corvette enthusiasts. CF has several "policies" that are idiotic but the biggest one to me has to be a ban on raffles. One of the things we wanted to do was Phil's idea to raffle off a Corvette at the 10th Anniversary Cruise-In. That was shut down because apparently the Forum or IB has a "no raffles policy".

I tried to get the NCM to work it so we might at least draw the winner of a standard NCM auction during the CIX Banquet and publicize the NCM raffles sales through CF. I thought a big push and the chance that somebody attending CIX might win a new Corvette could be damn cool, raise cash for the NCM and generate some buzz for the Cruise-in. No go.

What I find ironic is that they gave y'all such a hard time about the NCM fundraiser stuff because they were afraid of it taking away from St. Judes. However, if you're dating a mod, then it's find to try to get people to donate to your cause. I wonder if I went over there to try and get people to donate to a cause I work with (horseback riding camp for families who have a child with cancer) if it would be shut down...

Seafive isn't the only loser over there. There are many. But, I find tempest62 the most offensive there. Just about every single one of his posts expresses pure hatred to many segments of the population. He must have given Grumpy a "reach around", because I can't believe he hasn't been banned!

Thanks for the thanks James, lol. Tempest62 is either a teenager mocking CFOT to see how much he can can away with with his nasty language, or some crotchety old fart who's not happy with his lot in life and is looking for someone else to blame!!!

In fact, someone should invite him over here so Iron Chef can ban him after his first post....just for the fun of it!

CF really loves this guy for some reason, must be the money.

I PMed him one day when he said "if you have any questions, PM me". So I did, I had questions about tuning an A6. My gut feeling was he was a scam, he was advertising one price on CF and told me I needed an engine tune without knowing anything about my car.

He never answered any questions and tried to get me to send him money.

Sorry to hear about your Ban.
