Default Mecum Indy 2020

C8 coming up this week.

I watched some of last weeks action and prices seem to be the same as last year for most vehicles. I grew up in the car culture era. The music, movies, magazines, etc...had a lot of influence on me. I do wonder about the people growing up the last few years and now without those influences on them...what will happen with the collector market for cars, motorcycles, etc..I say that because only 2700 2020/C8's were mfg. and the first major design change in decades. Things like this always influences the current collector mkt. for old cars.

This 1967 L88 will also be great to watch! The ultimate L88 in existence.

I note that a lot did not meet reserve, at least when they were on the block. Afterwards who knows. Saw one item go for $250, thats the lowest price for a SOLD I ever saw on TV!

GM started up the production line a few weeks ago. So far, over 3100 C8s have been built, with more on the way. But yes, artificially low production numbers for the first model year of C8, thanks to scamdemic.

Motorcycle? I remember seeing a beat up Maico go in that price range. Lot's of bikes vs cars for some reason.

Estimate
$4,000,000 - $5,000,000

Some cool pics and story about it. There is one pic were the guy drove it to Daytona Beach and then raced it around the track.
