it must be the powdered sugar in my eyes...

just had a chance to talk with mom very briefly on the phone.

she and dad are in her room, waiting for dinner to arrive, pasta for mom (doc said she can have anything she wants), meat loaf for dad (a great comfort food).

got to tell her i love her, and got to tell her Merry Christmas.

quite possibly the last time i'll talk with her.

and that's sad, but yet I rejoice, in that she soon will be with God, and i'm stuck here, in this sinful, decaying body, with all you schmucks (including Spence and that other guy).

So find or call a loved one, tell them you love them, give them a hug or a kiss, and tell them God sent His Son to save you and them from eternal torment.

Very sorry to hear.

Still hoping for the best outcome. But, at my age, I've seen enough to know that sometimes, the end to the pain is the best outcome. Best to you and your whole family.

Dad called about 20 min ago, Mom is going home on monday, 12/28 for home hospice. she'll have home health aides everyday, for now, during day time hours.

Dad sounded very sad.
