Two officers from my dept were both killed responding to a domestic call. Happened years ago before I came on board. There are two separate head stone like markers where they were felled. Every year we have a ceremony on the day of their death. Last call is made for both each year. I tear up every time.

Plus the many blue light funeral processions I have participated in really hits home.
