I do not. When I addressed the heads, it was done at AHP in SoCal under my GMPP. I had intentions of extending the GMPP, so I wanted to keep the car stock-ish, on stock tune. I never really wanted to go too far on this car....been there, done that. Learned my lessons.

In hindsight, I wish I had thrown in a baby cam from CamMotion at that time. More for longevity than power, since I've seen "soft lobe" issues on OE cams create big headaches. They had an old "Stage 2" that I wish I would have thrown in on their 8620 core which was something like 222/234 .612 in .603 ex, which I think would've provided a nice little bump along with a conservative tune. Their new stage 2 is 228/240 .630 in .612 ex.

I'm a firm believer in keeping the lift below the ~.635 range on the LS7 to keep the valvetrain happy. With stock rockers, the wipe pattern becomes less than ideal when you start to go past that, and I'm not a fan of most roller rockers unless we start talking about going with a high-end pedestal mount like T&D or Jesel. I contemplated shaft mount options as well, but to machine the OE heads to accept them...meh, just go with new castings. All the sudden, a baby cam becomes an expensive project.

Copy all. I was curious if your clutch pedal has ever be abnormally stiff after a long period of driving (like 10 miles on a highway, and then exiting) or after starting up from sitting while warm?

I wondered if what I'm experiencing is common? I have a small cam in mine, so I thought it could be cam related issue.

Hmmm....no, haven't had that. Did you ever replace your master?

No. I do have the twin plate Tilton clutch though...it came with their TOB. Think it could be the master?

It doesn't sound like the typical symptoms, opposite actually...but I'm just always suspicious of it when it comes to clutches.

Fair enough. This has always been a thing with my car ever since I bought it, regardless of the clutch or power output. I think it could be a symptom of the master...it's the only thing I've never swapped out. Something about being able to see the color of the fluid has always been high on my maintenance schedule.

Never had an issue with my OE, but I ditched it as soon as the TSB came out. Seemed like there were too many people that started having issues, and I didn't want to be the next one.

I still have 2 C6 Z's, one bone stock garage queen 3LZ and a track monster 2LZ with only 14k miles and nearly 700 hp, and 2,990 lbs. Will have a 3rd Z (C8) in about 12-14 months.

I've not had a clutch issue in either Z. Sounds like you may need to simply replace both the master and slave cylinders. Master sucks as it's internal to the bell housing / torque tube assembly.
