That's also been my experience over the years. Betty Boop, who just turned 5, snuck in through the cat door and lived in my laundry room for a week or two before I spotted her. At 6 pounds, she runs the two 18 pound red guys (who also adopted me) as well as the rest of the house, and is a supreme hunter. Here she is as a kitten. Click image for larger version

never will I own an animal, that scratches and paws around in piles of shit, then track all over my house, and get up on my counters, and cozy up on my pillow.......here's a hint for all of you who think they don't.....they do!
GROSS!
However some of those that have already admitted to crazy cat ownership, it explains a lot......my Mom is a cat lover, and she is totally cat lady crazy, cuckoo, victim mentality, Biden lover.

I.E........drinking with your cats........Ok Doug

If you didn't have a toilet, and you couldn't get out of your house, where would you shit?

When I had my '37 Chrysler Imperial and my Model T, my cats liked to sleep on the running boards. That was fine. But one of them (Big Teej) jumped up on a front fender of the '37 and started to slide off and dug in....and scratched the paint. Not really an issue on flat '60's cars, but the curvy ones, watch out.

I used/use the compressed air with the motion sensor. My cats hate it. It was especially useful with the Christmas tree.
