That doesn't sound like less govt. to me ...

Bush-era tax cuts and Tea Party

Bush-era tax cuts and Tea Party | TheUnion.com

From what I have read, the principle events that precipitated the current recession were: The crash of the sub-prime housing market, the unfunded wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the Bush-era tax cuts.

The Tea Party was a big factor in the recent Republican electoral victory. A guiding principle of the Tea Party has been a call for fiscal responsibility in government.

A fight is brewing in Washington over extending the Bush-era tax cuts. Both the Democrats and the Republicans agree that those netting under $250,000 per year should have their tax cuts extended.

The disagreement is over extending the tax cuts to those making over $250,000 (costing $678 billion through 2012).

Do the millionaires and billionaires really need this money when 5 million Americans are unemployed ?

From the Tea Party I would expect to hear outrage over the extension of tax cuts for the wealthiest 2 percent of Americans.

I would expect to see the Tea Party nationwide up in arms by this massive fiscal irresponsibility.
I expect Stan Meckler to call the Nevada County Tea Party Patriots into action.

Time to walk the talk people!
Please don't be “nothing but empty red shirts!”

Or, is the party over?

About the same logic as "Eat your brussels sprouts, there's kids starving in China"

There is no logic....
