When we bought our house 20 years ago we had a open house party between Christmas and New Year. We decided to have a party between the holidays and for the last 10 years it became a New Years eve party. This year due to the China virus no party.

Nothing this year. Just me and my faithful Indian companion Buttermilk. Really don't care to go anywhere either. This year kinda sucked and I'm just not in the mood to celebrate. I'm going to take down Christmas decorations, get some chores done that I've been putting off, probably get a pizza and then watch the movie 1917.
Funny...when you're young, you think you're a card-carrying loser if you have no plans. Now, it's like, "meh". Here's hoping 2021 is a better year. |

Unlike previous years where we'd go out with friends for dinner, this year we're spending it here at the house... in fact the wife is already asleep in the lounge chair.
