Personally, I dislike wheels hanging out of the fenders...but for a no-tub/no-flare 12" wheel fitment on the rear of a C5, that's about the best you'll possibly do. I assume you ditched the rear brake ducts?
The rears are tolerable, the fronts are the deal-breaker. I'd look a pair of front repros in a C5 offset. I don't know what's available, but an 18x9.5" in 54-56mm offset would be about perfect, and fit flush with the fender. |

The brake ducts are still on. They clear about a pencil width. The tires are only 285's on there right now. Once a get new rubber in the back I might have to notch the ducts.
The fronts being alittle to wide makes me alittle leary but If the wheels are strait they are only about a 1/4 of an inch out further then the top of the wheel arch. Not that bad. I will have to keep my eyes pealed for a pair of repro fronts if it starts to bother me. I really like the look though. I am not a fan of newer styles on an older car but I do like the way it turned out. Thank you for the input. Any one else have thoughts on it? You are more then welcome to be honest. |

I like the Rims!
Are you going to black out the lights too? The black wheels make it look heavy on the bottom and the silver makes your top seem light. I think blacked out lights would even it out a little! But then again the red lights brings out your red calipers! Just a woman's point - accessorize to match! |

Well I have never been a big fan of all black wheels. They can really look bad if you don't keep the tires in top condition. I have seen a few with a contrasting stripe around the outer most part on the rim lip. Maybe a red stripe seeing the calipers are red.

I will look into the black outs. I may know a guy that can do them for me. The strip might not look bad I will see if I can photoshop it.
