You may have to try various carry methods to find something that suits you. Personally I don't like the idea of "appendix carry". An accidental discharge, though unlikely, could blow up a femoral artery and unless you are in a trauma unit when it occurs, you are probably done. On the other hand "appendix carry" is onr of the quickest carry positions to draw from.

BTW, my wife has a Flash Bang holster and says it is surprisingly comfortable.

Depending on the time of year and what part of the country you live in a .380 may be a bit anemic.heavier clothing in cold climates may be harder to put an attacker down. A 9mm is the smallest gun I would consider carrying.
Come up with a comfortable place to carry your gun and do your best to carry it in the same place every time.practice drawing and getting fluid in your movement.
As someone that has been there I pray you never need to have to use it but if you do I pray you you don't hesitate not for an instant.God bless you and watch over you.

The bra holster, while a great conceal, can be dangerous for someone without a great deal of experience. Like mentioned about appendix carry there have been a couple of cases where the gun was discharged while being accessed. Finger accidentally being placed on the trigger, ya know.

And congrats, BB! It may be little but it'll still poke holes in 'em when need be.

My carry in summer is an Iver Johnson .380, and in winter is a Taurus 709 slim.

I have a similar holster by Remora (www.remoraholsters.com) for my Sig P238 (.380 also). Fits VERY well and stays secure. I have the belt clip option that I can take on or off as needed to keep it secure. The pistol does NOT move in it at all and keep the trigger covered well while still making the grip easily accessible.

I now have a Shield 9mm (Performance Center version) as well and am considering the Remora for it as well. Not a big fan of Kydex and prefer something that will smooth out lines when worn.

I have a Milt Sparks leather VM2 for my 1911's (cooler/winter wear).
