Ireland is a beautiful place. I don't know of anyone who has visited the Emerald Isle who didn't like it.

Hopefully she tells all of her liberal friends how great it is and they all go and join her.

I don't care for it.

My Father was born & raised there. I've been to Ireland 7 times. My parents built a second house there ~15 years ago that they visit several times every year (they're there now)

I just personally never cared for it. Rainy weather. Mostly fields or bars. Decent food. Meh. There are a lot of other places throughout Europe I much prefer.

Each to their own.

I like drinking & hanging out with people but I truly enjoy being somewhere that interests me.

Perfect example.....England! I've been there twice. Never cared for it. Their history is astounding! How such a "small" piece of land was able to control so much of the world is truly interesting.
