I made shirataki noodles a few years ago, it was fine as a rice vermicelli replacement, no way it would replace wheat pasta.

My order of palmini linguine arrived today so I'll try that with some shrimp scampi tomorrow night.

Palmini sucks. Ain't nothing linguine about it, it's just square strands. And it basically tastes like canned bamboo shoot strips. I was expecting way too much.

I have to cook it for 10-12 minutes. I know they say you can eat it right out of the can but I don’t do that. I rinse it and boil it like pasta for 10-12 minutes. Sometimes longer.


Here’s a recipe I made today. I omitted the wheat flower and I didn’t serve it with polenta. I had a side of broccoli instead.
