Damn, I aint bitcoin about $1200 a year for two acres and 2000 square feet.
So I pay $24 a quarter for trash pickup, still come out ahead not going to the dump at $2 a bag. |

Jesus...some of you guys are getting raped. My house here in Northern CA, my property tax is $8k/year. Thank god we have prop 13 that limits property tax increases; otherwise, we'd be paying up the kazoo.

$4,300/yr on 400k. All of that schooling money and I paid for it again from day one with private school, all the way through out of state at GT. I must be glutton for punishment. I wish there was a provision for a credit if you pay for your own schooling.

Typical government. Their solution is always to raise taxes. You never hear of ANY government agency say they were able to save 10% of their budget on efficiency improvements. If these clowns were in a business, it would not last more than a few years.

Holy Shit..Even I living in S Fl where we get Fu@ked for everything don't get hosed like that but I've been in my property from 1999, if I were to buy my house today I would pay more than you even with homestead exemption. My appraised value is about 450.000 and this house is nothing to write home about. Where you beat me is in insurance that is where we get hosed more down here.

This is my plan. NH is crazy high on property taxes too. I'm paying almost $9500 a year on a 389K assessment. When we had our house listed a couple years back, we had it at $299K with a market appraisal at $305K.

Zillo is screwed up bad, they have my place, (on a popular big lake) at least $75,000 under what its worth. Size of property is wrong, I have a acre more, than they list, 1 bath room, I have 2 bath rooms. They list 1 garage, I have 2 (4 spaces), and a few other phuckups!
