...No, I'm not shutting the doors. LOL!! I'm opening a second location. It's 9 miles away in a much larger town and a great location. Bigger space by about 1700 sq. feet but the rent is the same. (different counties and much different property taxes). I'll see great economies of scale for both locations. If you run it as a business it's really not that hard. The new place will do about 30% more business than my original because of size and location. Have a lot of the staff lined up (coming from the original) and have more people interested. Should be up and running April 3rd.

Things have been going absolutely awesome!! 2016 ytd over 2015 is up 4% and we're making a healthy profit. Since I bought the place I added 12 additional beer lines, digital menu boards, using a seating app to manage the server sections and to text customers when their table is ready, all new tables and chairs, finished my outdoor patio with garage doors and heat is being installed today thru Thursday so I can use it year 'round and cut down on my weekend wait times and host more and bigger parties. (The patio seats 56 with a normal set up and upwards of 80 for a party/banquet).

When you actually pay attention it's amazing how much money you find. I switched bread companies in May of last year after I had owned it for six months and had looked at how to save money without sacrificing any quality. Gotta find the savings wherever possible.

We thought we had a good deal on our ice cream mix, until we found out we could buy it straight from the dairy. By cutting out the middleman, we cut the cost in half, thus increasing profit.
