In other news..."A body was found floating in the Hudson river. Authorities are having trouble identifying the body because they do not want to assume a specific gender. This is creating challenges in locating records that may assist in identification. In addition, persons reporting a missing family member are offering a wide range of possible genders, which is further hindering efforts. A representative with the Coroner's office is able to offer that the deceased is of a certain height and age range, but could not disclose the exact details due to a policy that does not allow for the deceased to be placed in societal silos that are based on body measurements."

the gender field on a passport form is not to declare your political beliefs;
it's to help authorities in trying to validate you, for the passport you are applying to get, and if you are the person who is then presenting the passport.

Last week I was in a meeting with people in Commiefornia. At one point in the conversation, I was really tempted to say "birthing parent" and "non-birthing parent" as part of the discussion.

No direct impact on me. But I bet it’s sad for his/her loved ones, of which I’m sure there are.
