Default I dont remember anybody who was a young kid in the 70s....
That went around claiming to want to be like Bruce Jenner. Everybody wanted to be Carl Yastremski or Reggie Jackson or or a Dallas Cowboy or Kareem or somebody else but NOBODY wanted to be Bruce. He has been known for two things, the 76 Olympics and 40 years later for wearing a dress. At least now he looks less like Billie Jean King.

He started the short short fashion trend that we all wore for a while.
I believe jorts followed.
WGAFF about Bruce Jenner or Bobbi Christina? If someone isn't family or a friend, it really is out of my realm of reality.
How people get fixated on people that they don't know and never will is beyond my comprehension.

I liked him but only because I thought, "Feet, don't fail me now" was a good line. I don't remember any kids who wanted to be like him.

Agreed, I could care less about Jenner. That said, I think the whole sex change/transgender stuff is weird. It just is. You are gay fine. Straight fine. Whatever floats your boat.

But 'changing' your gender with a medical procedure is, IMO, not going to change the fact that you were born a man, or a woman.

Also, Jenner was at fault in a fatal car accident that resulted in a person DYING, only to be given a 'courage' award by ESPN. He/she doesn't deserve any award. Sorry. It's bogus and crap.

Even when he was on CHiPs I never liked him... only Grossie, Bonnie and Worf made driving the cruiser look badass...

In his prime you couldn't help but to admire him. He was highlighted in LIFE magazine. Worked as a cop in LA, married to a hot wife and in his spare time won the decathlon ,"World's Greatest Athlete", at the Olympics when it was all amateur.

That said , he did become strange as years went on.
