So, there was a nutcase speaking about “REPTILIAN” beings. How the Reptilians are going to come get us.
If I see some 8 foot tall half lizard half human coming towards me I am headed to the nearest Dairy Queen and stand in the WALK-IN freezer and dare him to step inside.

Just pull their tails off. Without the tail for balance, they will be reduced to running on all fours, substantially slowing them down. Use the tails to make a nice pair of cowboy boots.

Sure it does. But not immediately. And, while the lizard is waiting for the tail to grow back is the perfect time to hurl some taunts about being tailless and use the lizard's shame and confusion to distract it and get away.
