Seiko is a strange bird. When people think of Seiko they don't associate it with a high end watch. But the reality is that they have. Even designing and producing high end watched for over 50 years. Seiko invented the quartz wrist watch, and their quartz watch is the most accurate in the world. It also has a +/- adjustable screw built in. It is well built, durable piece.

For my next addition I may dip my toe in the Omega pool.

I have looking for a vintage Heur for a long time.

I have also noticed the 90's Tag Heurs are dirt cheap right now. I may pick one up for the nostalgia.

Nice collection! I love that 5-digit Explorer!!!

I got this one a few months ago. I decided to go with the "sapphire sandwich" to get the display case back. I love the looks of that movement:

I recently got this one, an S serial # circa 1993-94. 40mm

This is the modern version, 42mm.

I’ve really been itching for an Omega for a while. Not sure why but love the size over the Rolex’s. I love the history ties on the omegas as well. Yours looks fantastic!

Very nice, kind of kicking myself for not picking up a Z-Blue dial a few months ago when one of my AD's had one.
I do have its weird little brother...

From top left, clockwise:
1945 Breitling, Movado Visio Museum, 1970's Timex, Bulova Austin FM, Elgin, Citizen's Eco Drive Stilleto.
The Breitling was gifted to me from my brother. He collects high end watches. The Movado I use as a dress watch. The Timex I wore so much eventually the tabs for the band pins wore out. The Stilletto is my daily. Thin and doesn't snag on anything.
Just for the curious the little bear was on my grandmother's keychain.

I'd like to get an Omega 007 James Bond edition but I'd never wear it for fear of damaging it.

I have an Omega 007 edition which I have worn. It is a battery operated quartz movement, and wasn't terribly expensive, so I don't feel too bad about wearing it. The automatic movement 007 watches were twice the price, just out of reach for me.

If you won’t wear a watch for fear of damaging it, you shouldn’t get it. I’ll wear any watch I own and I don’t baby them. Here’s that Rolex Milgauss that I posted up earlier. Yeah. I don’t coddle my watches, but luckily, I have an awesome set of tools.

I do tend to be careful but not paranoid when wearing my watches. But I buy them to wear. Even the unicorns.
