Default Clay Barred a C3

Our Club has a "Wax & Chat" session every other week at my place, coffee, donuts, and mostly bullshit, and we clay bar a car each session.

This beautiful C3 turned out great.

Nice...how many cars do you get in before you run out of donuts and willpower?

Only do one car a session, usually everyone brings donuts. I make them take them home after the day is over. I don't need any more than I already ate.

clay barring a car adds about a foot to the depth of the paint.

Just curious...y'all clay bar then wax it right? It doesn't take all that long to clay bay. The car looks beautiful!

exactly, Beadist. think of the clay bar as an eraser and the car as a piece of paper with pencil marks on it. the clay pulls all the dirt out of the finish so the wax works better.

Hey Ducky I love the finish it leaves, but I can do my car, glass included in about 1 1/2 hours. Wax takes me a bit longer. I was wondering if I was doing it wrong. If you had 6 guys working on one car it could be clay barred and waxed quite fast.

I need to clay mine. But that's not going to happen before spring.
