99% of households own firearms up here. Our community is pro LE. Nothing you would comprehend being from the chithole of Detroit.

Again, read the civil litigation transcripts before spouting such ignorance for all to see.

Here's ID's current candidate for governor. She's the best answer to Gov Little...a RINO.

McGeachen is the real deal aka genuine and pro 2nd amendment.
OMG...the horror!!

Randy was entrapped by the same kind of people who tried to entrap a bunch of suckers in the "Whitmer kidnapping plot." But for the government trying to get ordinary Americans to COMMIT crimes, there would have been no crime committed by Weaver. Floyd, on the other hand, possessed and tried to pass off a fake bank note, was high as **** and in the driver's seat of his car, qualifying him for not only P.I., but a D.W.I. too, if the cops wanted to be dicks about it. And then there was the resisting arrest part. Just sit in the ****ing car, you're busted. But no.

Floyd was a walking crime, Weaver had to be coaxed by the government to commit his crime. The government killed Randy's family, INCLUDING HIS DOG, and paid out $ 3M. The government sat by and watched Floyd overdose and his family got 9 times what Randy got. Do you really think this is fair?

How would you like to be entrapped in some bullshit because the government doesn't like you or your friends? You wouldn't like it.

[end rant]

Being able to be self sufficient, take care of one's self and one's family, the ability to live off the land, etc., USED to be something people were proud of. American exceptionalism is born from Americans who have the capacity to and do take care of themselves. Who are the baby birds who need government to take care of their needs? Is that what we should aspire to? Don't worry about food and shelter, cause we've got food stamps and public housing, amirite?

Gun nut? Another way to say that would have been, "gun enthusiast." It may shock you to know that most of the VB are probably gun owners. I'd dare to say that more members here have guns than actually currently own a Vette. Again, what's wrong with enjoying the shooting sports, and taking responsibility for one's own protection, and the protection of one's family? This used to be a good thing, now we mock it?

I’m not mocking shooting guns or self defense with them, that’s why I have a loaded S&W 38 Combat Masterpiece and S&W MP2 AR15 sitting a few feet from me right now, considering the area where I live you never know when some Trayvon Martin type ghetto thug is going to kick in your door.

I just think some people take it to the extreme and make guns a little too central to their lives.

Pot meet kettle. Aren't you making guns a little too central having them that close ?

I view them simply as tools which hopefully never need to be utilized, but they’re not much use to me hidden away in a safe or closet, however they’re certainly not a lifestyle for me either.

Not really, I’m pretty much stuck where I am. I’m not in the hood but unfortunately the democrat criminals are mobile and tough to escape, they’re like locusts in their unquenchable need to consume that which is not theirs.

I don’t plan on going to one of those shitholes ever again, they make me think what it would be like attending the Democratic National Convention, just a veritable 3 ring circus of disgust.

Can a baseball fan have too many cards?
Can a car enthusiast have too many toy/tools?
Can a football fan have too many jerseys?
Can a wine enthusiast have too many bottles?
Can a gambler play cards too often
Can a sailboat owner spend too much time on the water?

It's all in what you are in to. Collecting guns for some is like collecting stamps. If you call someone a car nut or a baseball nut, it's fine, so why is a gun nut a negative?

I'm pretty sure if I lived where there are bears, wildcats, etc. I'd probably have a few guns around and they'd probably be accessible no matter WHERE I was standing at any given moment.

I don't subscribe to any "supremacist" ideology regardless of color, ethnicity, etc. so it is a bit difficult to defend everything about Weaver, BUT, the events that lead to the killing that day was nothing more than a hunt for someone that was operating outside the lines. That should be VERY worrisome to you given the regime that is currently deciding where those lines are. That day it was a "gun nut" last year governments were yanking people off planes for not wearing a mask. How far we have come.

Unless you've been on the police force or the Military you'll shit your pants the first time you're confronted with someone pointing a gun at you or breaking in your house. You'll hesitate and say who is it? Look to turn on a light. By then you're dead. I have been trained with weapons serving during Vietnam. I don't hesitate one second. Like i said i don't live or go where i need a gun. Just like i don't know when or where i may get in a car accident or killed. But i don't worry about it. In Orange County of over 4 million people where i live their is only one area of Santa Ana that is bad and their is nothing their i need. They're more safe area's in L.A County than bad. Could someone pull a gun on me in Bevery Hills, maybe. But i won't worry about it or carry. You carry Rambo.

Rather defensive over a simple question, just curious of your thinking. Rambo? Go **** yourself.
