I've been on the fence myself, I currently have 3 screens and think it's nice for screenshare when I can simply select a monitor to share without having to worry about sharing too much. I'd be curious how an ultrawide works, does it pretend there are multiple screens or are you limited to sharing windows or what

I needed the bigger screens when I was doing audits on spreadsheets, looking at excel on a laptop screen was fkn brutal after a few hours.

I like it since I can easily open 3 apps on one screen and that makes it easier for me to do a lot of my paperwork and record keeping.

I might switch the screens around and use the white Sammy for my internet screen since I can get a bigger picture (ie. bigger screen for watching movies), but other than that, I like the setup.

Plus, everyone thinks my department ordered this for me, but in reality it was a prize that I won a couple weeks ago.

I only share a window or a tab (using teams or WEBEX) unless I need to share my desktop with higher support. Other than that, I don't share full screens.

I also have three individual screens. I started to switch for the "cool" factor, but all the cool kids switched back so I saved myself the effort.

The attached single spreadsheet is spread across all 18 monitors. The visible columns and rows visible go to column "FN" and the top 200 rows. Notice all the white space on the last 1.5 monitors in the array. Excel only renders to column FN without scrolling.
